Attention: Member Nursing Colleges

The State Goverment has issued an order enabling the appointment of Nurses in Government Medical Institutions who studied in Government and Government approved Private Nursing Institutions vide G.O (Ms)No. 29, H & FW (C1) Dept., dated 18.01.2012, as per the Supreme Court and High Court directions. The Nurses strike against this order is unreasonable.

Our Association has released a press note through Vice President Dr.L.P.Thangavelu, that the admission process for entry in to the Government Nursing and Private Nursing colleges are the same. The syllabus and the examinations/practicals they undergo are the same.

Nursing students from Government and Private Institutions go through the same eligibility process for registration in the State Nursing Council and the Nurses enter in to the Indian Nursing Registry which is a must for recruitment, it doesn't matter where they study and it is unfair that the Government Nursing Students are against this order.
