The General Body meeting 2011 of our consortium was held on 15th March 2011 at the Banquet Hall, Madras Race Club, Guindy, Chennai – 600 025.

The meeting was presided by the president Mr.C.R.Swaminathan (PSG Institutions), Secretary Dr.Ishari K.Ganesh (Vels Group of Institutions), Vice President Dr.T.Ramesh (Melmaruvathur Adhiparasakthi Institutions), Vice President Dr.L.P.Thangavelu (PPG Institutions), Vice President Dr.KA.Arumugam (Ultra Trust) and Treasurer Dr.O.T.Bhuvaneswaran (KMCH Institutions).

Followed by the general body meeting, the meeting with the Vice Chancellor (The Tamil Nadu Dr.M.G.R.Medical University, Chennai) and a meeting with the Secretary (Selection Committee, Directorate of Medical Education) was held on the same day.

Most of the member institutions have participated in the discussion with the office bearers and render their valuable suggestions. Representations based on the discussions were given to the appropriate authorities for necessary action.
